Host a Screening Event - The Artist in Society

WHAT IS A SCREENING EVENT?

In a screening event, the audience (your members, patrons, students) watch the film and then there is a program afterwards. The film can be made available either remotely (for a specified, mutually agreed-upon period – often a week or 10 days) or live, in-person. The remainder of the program can vary from a Q&A with the filmmaker to a panel discussion related to the topic of the film…and almost anything in between.

Types of Presentation -

INCLUDES :
· a 10-30 min. selection from documentary (your choice of duration).

· Q&A with the filmmaker (often Zoom) OR panel presentation (can include someone from your organization).

· Classroom supplements with sample discussion questions about drums, culture and music.

· Postcards and a poster as digital downloads.
